Description - Behold!! The most adorable serpent ever, Saru!! Belonging to the lovely & amazing ~Aki-Hikari!! I've been wanting to draw Saru for soo long it's ridiculous, and as soon as his updated piccy was submitted, I got straight to work! Saru's basking in the glory of the sun, relaxing and not using his own light energy powers

You're getting better at backgrounds, though I wouldn't recommend filtering Saru.
Also, if you want to use smoother lines that are easier to control in photoshop, use the pen tool.
